Be Wary Of

 

Be Wary of…National Weight Loss programs using celebrity endorsements to promote weight loss. A recent televised news program indicated that these celebrities can get paid up to $60,000 per pound of weight they lose on any given weight loss diet or weight loss program.

Be Wary of…Other weight loss or diet clinics who uses an employee not trained in giving appropriate advice. We are experienced, licensed healthcare professionals, who specialize in the body & the burning of fat as Physical Therapists.

Be Wary of…Small print located at the bottom of the ad (TV or Print) with other weight loss diets or weight loss programs. It is often difficult to read and may contain such content as “These results NOT typical” or “Results accompany a rigorous exercise plan”. Losing 1-2 pounds a week and not promising that even that small amount of weight loss is typical is not a good diet nor a diet program that talks enough about diet foods or the burning of fat.

Be Wary of…Weight loss and programs involving injections or pills. We never want to become dependent on external tools for weight loss. We emphasize the burning of fat and talk about diet foods throughout our weight loss program.

Losing 1-2 pounds a week, without the reassurance that small amount of weight loss is typical, is not a good diet plan. Nor is a diet program that does not talk enough about diet foods or the burning of fat.
